Mountain High Lodge, overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains

Mountain High Lodge is located in the River Bend community area in Ellijay, GA.  A picturesque, covered bridge greets you on the drive into your mountain getaway.  Travel up to the summit of the mountain to fall in love with the tranquility that accompanies the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This cabin sleeps 6 comfortably and just down the road we have another property to accommodate larger parties when available.   
Step inside to an open floor plan on the main level. The kitchen opens up into the living area where sliding glass doors open to the deck where you can take in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Full bathroom and laundry room also on the main level equipped with High Efficiency washer and dryer.  Two bedrooms complete the main level.  One with a king sized bed and the other with a queen bed and another sliding glass entrance to the deck.  Dine alfresco while enjoying southern living at its best.  Upstairs in the loft area is another bed room with a full sized bed and a full bathroom.  On the lower deck enjoy the mountain views while lounging in the hot tub, complete with privacy fencing.  Meander onto the pebble and stone walk path underneath string lights to take in the starlit sky on the ridge of the summit.   
Located only 8 miles from downtown Ellijay where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and antiquing.  During apple season be sure to travel down 52E to ”apple alley”  where countless apple houses are located.  Continue on 52E to Amicalola Falls and the Appalachian Trailhead.  Or travel north 13 miles to Blue Ridge to experience the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway on into Copperhill, TN.  Lake Blue Ridge as well as Carters Lake in Ellijay are both excellent additions to any itinerary.  The Toccoa River is also an outdoor water option while Ellijay offers The Cartecay and The Coosawattee Rivers for a day of fishing or a float to reconnect with nature. 
 
Gravel roads are the only access to the summit of the mountain.  During winter months a 4x4 is needed when snow and ice are a probability.  Dusty vehicles are a certainty when traveling up the mountain. 
This cabin is a pet friendly cabin with some dog restrictions. Dogs must be crated when left alone in the cabin. 2 dog MAX, with each dog weighing under 30 pounds, or 1 dog under 60 pounds. No cats.

This cabin is dog friendly, but must be pre-approved.  Do not book until you inquire about pet restrictions

Nightly rental price reflects 1-6 guests
Standard rates are $250 per night plus tax 
Holiday/Peak rates $300 plus tax

We do not allow over 6 people, including children and infants
Cleaning fee is $145

Two night minimum stay on non holidays

Three night minumum stay for MLK, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, the month of July, Labor Day, and the Month of October
Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years
