Talona Mountain Retreat will provide guests with a unique mountain getaway experience.  This cabin, along with nature that surrounds it, will hit the perverbial "reset" button in your busy life.  There is an old saying that when you dip your foot into a creek, or walk barefoot in the grass that it will "knock the dust off of your soul".  I have found both of them to be true!!  Nature was the owners inspiration when designing the themed rooms that the cabin donishes.  Water, Air, Fire, and Earth  These Four Corners combine to bring you Mother Nature and the theme of Talona Mtn Retreat!

Upon entering the home, guests will immediately be impressed with the open floor plan and cathedral ceiling continuing to a large, screened porch with one of the best unobstructed views on Talona Mountain. Updated furnishings, new upstairs flooring, gas fireplace, and fantastic office set the stage for our guests who are embarking on a mountain getaway.  The kitchen and dining areas complete the open concept living area on the main level.  The kitchen has a stainless steel refrigerator, a gas oven/stove top, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and much much more. The fully equipped kitchen provides a chef’s list of culinary tools including a crock pot and waffle maker. There is also a gas grill located on the back porch with backup fuel, a BBQ cart and tools for the outdoor chef.  This home boasts three King Master Ensuite's and one Queen Ensuite, with gathering areas on the downstairs porch by the hot tub and mini deck, the mountain top fire circle, as well as the Back Porch and two balconies with mountain views. The Great room is the heart of the house along with the dinning area with antique American Oil painting, one of many works of art throughout the property. Above the gas fireplace is a 43" Roku Flat Screen for internet streaming. However, the best show is the mountain view from every room.
Rooms are designated by the Four Elements in this place surrounded by the same. The first King Master (Air) is on the main level and provides sunset and mountain views and a large balcony. Farmhouse inspired, including full length mirror, Samsung 4K 43" Flat Screen TV, marble spa shower and fine furnishings. The second Master, Queen, (Water) also on the main level with water themed artwork and furniture, a writing desk and chair, a 40" HD Flat Screen and marble bath with walk in shower. The third King Master on the Terrace Level (Fire) features stylish Dana Point live edge furniture, eclectic art work, a 40" Flat Screen TV and direct access to the Mountain Patio. The fourth King Master on the Terrace Level celebrates the Earth. With views of the mountains, spa style river rock shower, and live edge furniture, this room will keep you grounded. Enjoy the Mountain Patio area with prominent mountain views, sitting area and large hot tub. Access is on paved road from the freeway to the driveway. No worries. Mind the speed bumps.

As per your rental agreement you agree to online:
You Must Be 25 or older to book! We do NOT allow a group of 25 year olds and under.
A valid driver's license and names and ages of all guests are required within 48 hours of booking and should be sent to [email protected]. Toddlers and infants are included in the number allowed in the cabin. No exceptions.

A security camera is present at the front door and points to the driveway. The camera does not impede on guest privacy and is there for security reasons only. The camera is not to be touched, covered, or changed in anyway. No smoking anywhere on the property (All our cabins are non-smoking)

Nightly rental price reflects 1-8  guests.
Standard Rates are $295 per night plus tax
Holiday/Peak Rates $345 per night plus tax
We do not allow over 8 people, including children and infants
Cleaning fee is $250

Two night minimum stay on non holidays

Three night minimum stay for MLK, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, the month of July, Labor Day, and the Month of October
Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years
